Welcome to OnStem. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the OnStem application (“App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of the App

OnStem is a local, on-device application that uses artificial intelligence models to separate music tracks into components such as vocals and accompaniment.

All audio processing is performed entirely on your device. The App does not upload, store, or analyze your files on any server.

2. User Content and Rights

You retain full ownership of all audio files you select or process using OnStem.

By using the App, you confirm that:

You have the legal right to use and process the audio files you select
You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws

OnStem does not claim ownership of your files and does not monitor or access your content.

3. Copyright and Legal Responsibility

OnStem is a tool for audio processing only.

You acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for how you use the output generated by the App
You must comply with all applicable copyright, licensing, and usage laws in your jurisdiction
The developer is not responsible for any misuse of the App or its outputs

OnStem does not provide legal advice regarding copyright or fair use.

4. Subscriptions, Ads, and Free Usage

Some features of the App may require:

A paid subscription, or
Viewing a rewarded advertisement (if available)

Subscription purchases and in-app payments are handled through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and policies.

Availability of free usage, ads, or subscriptions may change at any time.

5. Availability and Changes

The App and its features may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

The developer does not guarantee that the App will always be available or free of errors.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

Fitness for a particular purpose
Accuracy of output
Uninterrupted or error-free operation

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

Use or inability to use the App
Loss of data or content
Misuse of processed audio files

Your use of the App is at your own risk.
